Behind
the Scenes with The Ghost Walk

Lance Corporal Evan's MIA
|
|
The
Character Of the Corporal came from a lot of sources. It is based
on one character, his name is wrote in the back of the jacket amongst
three others, the jacket is Coldtream Guards regiment, Cavalry Division
and was made in the 1890s.
|
|
We
try and base our characters on people that have been in the town,
but on this occasion the uniform being in such perfect condition
and bright red (you cant miss it) we decided to try a different
look.
|
| Every Piece
of the costume is authentic. We at the walk like to be perfect, so
Im afraid no skimping Lance, your King and Country await you!!! |

Being
the corporal
|
|
| "This
outfit is fun, but heavy, and hot, you can feel the sweat dripping
into your boots in the summer but it is so comfortable to wear, by
far one of my favourites. The history that surrounds these costumes
is very intense, this one isn't run up on a sowing machine in fact
its in mint condition. How on earth they wore them in the searing
temperature's of the Zulu Wars beats me" Spoken by Stuart
Liggins who Portrays the corporal. |
|
| The Corporal
has a secret though. He has a wound for the audience to see and if
they get close, touch... you will have to come on the walk to find
out more. |
